Many families have holiday traditions. What does your family do? My Grandmother used to make mints for my Mom and her brothers to take to school as gifts for their teachers. I vaguely remember her making them years later as a holiday snack. Now my Mom and Uncle Nick try to keep the tradition alive by making, or attempting to make, mints each Christmas. It has often proven to be challenging and we have had some good laughs along the way. Here are some pictures from this year's "Mint Event."
The mix must be heated to about 260 degrees. Hot stuff!
